Growing Up Polyamorous

I did not grow up in a polyamorous household, though I hope to raise my child in one because “It takes a village.” I am polyamorous, and having multiple partners fulfills me, and thus I will be a better parent when I have more love to share. Communal parenting also provides financial, temporal, and educational benefits, helping the family have enough resources to devote to the child in the first place.

The following article is a wonderful first-hand account from a child of a polyamorous household, detailing how he accepted his parental units’ partners and how his peers treated him. I hope to keep this perspective in mind when I eventually have the chance to apply the technical benefits of a polyamorous parenting situation.
