On the Mobile Messenger App, they’ve introduced something called “secret conversations.” Basically, this is a feature that allows you to set a timer for messages to disappear. That’s right: it will erase your messages after a set amount of time. Now, I don’t think this erases the digital footprint, but if you’re worried someone else will access your account or see your phone or computer screen while messenger is open, this might beat deleting entire conversations to preserve your privacy. https://www.facebook.com/help/messenger-app
